Arthur Nelson Salisbury was born April 28, 1879, at Pleasant Grove, Sutter County, California. He graduated from Sacramento High School and Hastings Law College of San Francisco (1902) and was admitted to the bar in California in May 1902. He married Bessie Lowrey on September 3, 1909.
In Nevada, he was a member of the firm of Boyd & Salisbury and at one time was secretary of the state Republican Central Committee. When Judge Harwood resigned as judge of the 2nd District, Salisbury was appointed to fill out the unexpired term.
Judge Salisbury died November 16th, 1925, in Reno, Nevada.
